One Voice is the non-auditioned choir at Powhatan High School in Powhatan, Virginia. This group is combined with the Show Choir “Resonance” to make up One Voice Concert Choir. The choir is comprised of students in 9th-12th garde with different levels of singing ability. Already, One Voice Concert Choir has received a Superior Rating at District III’s Winter Assessments. This year, One Voice Concert Choir will be performing “Ev’ry Time I Feel the Spirit” arranged by William Dawson with soloists Joshua Meehan and Sydni Goodall, “O Nata Lux” arranged by Morton Lauridsen, and “Didn’t My Lord Deliver Daniel” arranged by Moses Hoga. Under the direction of Mr. Terrell Dean, One Voice Concert Choir.
Resonance "Unplaugged"
A Cappella Choir

Unplugged is the a capella choir at Powhatan High School. This group of young singers also competes as a show choir and concert choir. Resonance “Unplugged” is comprised of 9th – 12th grade students who excel in their academic lives and are upping standards in their community. This year marks the third year of “Unplugged” being a competitive a capella choir, and they have enjoyed the challenge a capella music brings to the table. This year “Unplugged” will be singing: “When the Party’s Over” arranged by Matt Villar and “Daft Punk” arranged by Mark Brymer.
